We wanted to take some time on this after report as the feedback is still coming in, as are photos. I have to say WOW. I am glad we went showcase style because this year I did not have anyone already slated to perform who got turned away.

The Third National Women in Blues Festival
Wilmington, North Carolina - This event was held in two locations. Night one at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater, and The Cellar Downtown (new name now). Opened like the past 2, by Rose and Charlie Lucas, then a multi media event and performance from Gaye Adegbalola.
The Second National Women in Blues, 2007
Wilmington, North Carolina - This event was held under the parking structure of downtown, overlooking the USS North Carolina Battleship. Unlike the first, this was a two day event, with two headliners.
The First National Women in Blues, 2006
The first festival was opened by Rose and Charlie Lucas, which became tradition.
